Dr. Dan Tran, DO

Dr. Tran was born in Abilene, Texas, and moved to Wichita Kansas, during his childhood, where he developed a deep connection to the local community and its healthcare landscape. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and is board-certified in Family Medicine.

In 2013, Dr. Tran co-founded Premier Hospitalists of Kansas, helping to establish a physician-led organization committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care. His leadership has been integral in developing care models that enhance quality outcomes streamline hospital-based medicine across the region. Dr. Tran also serves the Medical Director of Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire, Kansas, where he provides oversight for post-acute and long-term care programs, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compassion, and evidence-based practice of medicine.

Dr. Tran and his wife, MiMi, are passionate travelers and enthusiastic supporters of Wichita State University basketball. Their love for the community, both on and off the court, reflects Dr. Tran’s dedication to building meaningful connections and advancing healthcare across Kansas.
